CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University women's soccer team will look to bounce back from a pair of Gulf South Conference road losses last week when it plays host to Spring Hill on Thursday, Oct. 25 and No. 2 West Florida on Saturday, Oct. 27. Before its match with UWF, DSU will honor seniors
Chelsie Hurren and
Camila Segura Sevillano. In order to keep its postseason hopes alive DSU most win both of its remaining games, and have Christian Brothers drop its final two contesets.

INSIDE THE SERIES:

- Last season, the Lady Statesmen scored a pair of goals in the second half to earn a 3-1 win over visiting Spring Hill.
- West Florida leads the all-time series 13-0.
- UWF scored two first half goals, and added three more in the second to earn a 5-0 victory over DSU.

ABOUT DSU:
- In their last contest, the Lady Statesmen looked to carry over momentum from a 3-2 come-from-behind win at Auburn Montgomery, but were shutout in a 2-0 loss at Montevallo.
- After scoring four in the last six games, Diana Okechukwu leads the team with six goals. Her 26 shots also lead the team.
- 11 different Lady Statesmen have scored goals this season.
- Anoucke Baas is now tied for third in DSU school history with (9) career assists. She needs just one more to move into a tie for second and three more to tie for first.
- Amanda Hilliard ranks eighth in the GSC with 70 saves. Her 1.71 goals against average ranks ninth.
ABOUT SPRING HILL:
- The Badgers enter play 1-12-1 and 1-9-1 in GSC contests.
- In its last match, on Oct. 21, Spring Hill fell 7-1 at West Florida.
- Spring Hill has scored more than one goal on just two occasions this season (2, Union, Alabama Huntsville).
- Sidney Spivey and Devin Fry lead the Badgers with two goals apiece.
- Three goalkeepers have shared goalkeeping duties for the Badgers. HP Fluharty has seen the most action, recording 75 saves in 10 games.
ABOUT WEST FLORIDA:
- West Florida(15-0, 10-0 GSC) enters play ranked No. 2 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Association Top 25 Poll.
- The Argonauts lead the GSC in goals (53), goals against (8) and corner kicks (154).
- Peyton Peffers leads the Argos and is tied four third in the GSC with 10 goals. Peffers leads the league with six game-winning goals. Sam Waarum leads the league with 10 assists.
- UWF has scored at least three goals in all but five of its games, and has scored five or more on four different occasions.
- Goalkeeper Esthefanny Barreras leads the GSC with a meager .367 goals against average.
