HUNTSVILLE, Ala -- The Delta State University softball team dropped a close contest to No. 6 Southern Indiana, but bounced back to defeat Indianapolis 10-1 in five innings to wrap up the final day of the UAH Charger Chillout, on Friday at the Kiwanis Sportsplex.

- With the game tied at four in the fifth Southern Indiana attempted a sacrifice bunt, but the runner on first advanced to third on a throwing error and scored on a sacrifice fly by the next batter.
