Alexis Hobbs slipped one into the back of the net. This was the first time DSU has ever defeated UWG on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Delta State dominated the early portion of the game out shooting the West Georgia 6-1.
- Alexis Hobbs scored her first goal of her Green and White career in the 37th minute.
- Amanda Hilliard picked up a yellow card in the second half.
- Hannah James and Carra Hymel also earned yellow cards in the second half.
- West Georgia brought the pressure in the second half but Hilliard had three saves in the half to record the shutout.
