JACKSON, Miss. - The Delta State University men's tennis team  won 4-1 over Jackson State University on Wednesday, March. 13 in Jackson. The Statesmen improve to 6-1 and 2-0 in conference .
Emile Le Terrier and 
Trey Seymour claimed DSU's No.1 doubles with a 6-3 victory over Andrey Alawi and Richy Gamo. 
Mason Vice and 
Hugo Stroppiana claimed DSU's No.2 doubles with a 6-0 victory over Tomas Torres and Fritz Jacobs.
Emile Le Terrier opened singles play with a 6-2,6-3 victory at No.1 over Alawi. Stroppiana followed suit at No.2 with a 6-0,6-2 win over Torres. Sousa followed suit at No.4 with a 6-1,6-4 win over Mosehle.
The Statesmen return to action on Saturday, March 16, as Delta State travels to Livingston, AL. As they take on the University of West Alabama in Gulf South Conference action. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m.
