COLUMBUS, MISS. - The Delta State University women's tennis team won two straight matches with both being on the road. On March 30 and April 1, DSU defeated Mississippi University for Women 6-0, and Blue Mountain College 8-1. The Lady Statesmen move to 4-12 overall and 1-4 in conference on the season.

Nathalia Sato claimed DSU's No.1 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Sandy Bonnuchi.
Katheryne Valencia Perez earned a victory DSU's No.2 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Nikola Laura Kate Inman.
Beth Owen claimed DSU's No.3 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Emma Potter.
Sophie St. Amant won DSU's No.4 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Nicole Rensink. Cardenas and Sato swept DSU's No.1 doubles with an 8-0 victory over Montfort and Slone. Holway and Nash claimed DSU's No.2 singles with an 8-0 victory over Potter and Rensink.

Katheryne Valencia Perez earned a win at DSU's No.3 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Piper Johnson.
Nathalia Stelzer claimed DSU's No.4 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Mattie Mills.
Beth Owen won DSU's No.5 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Emily Standard.
Sophie St. Amant swept DSU's No.6 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Sarah Hill. Cardena and Sato claimed No. 1 doubles with an 8-2 victory over Alvarez and Quinonez. Owen and Stelzer claimed DSU's No.2 doubles with an 8-1 victory over Johnson and Standard. St. Amant and Perez claimed DSU's No.3 doubles with an 8-6 victory over Finley and Mills.
