CLEVELAND, Miss. -- Celeste Turner earned a victory Tuesday night in the women's 200 yard butterfly and the Delta State University Lady Statesmen swimming and diving team finished second overall through the four days of the meet.

INSIDE THE LANE LINES

• Isabella Kelly finished third in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:07.78, which meets the NCAA "B" cut standard.
• Sommer Rhodes came in fourth place in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 19:28.29.
• Peyton Osborn was the top finisher in the 200 yard backstroke for the Lady Statesmen. She finished her swim in 2:07.03 to place fifth.
• Erin Franklin came in third, in 53.00, in the 100 freestyle. Celeste Turner finished fourth in a time of 53.16.
• Madison Lavoie came in second in the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:16.99, which was an NCAA invited time from last year.
• Turner won the 200 yard butterfly by over two seconds, as she finished the race with a time of 2:02.45. 
• The 400 freestyle relay team of Turner, Victoria Brady, Franklin, and Lavoie placed second in 3:49.42.

NOTABLES

• Elle Christie of Lindenwood finished as the meet's Most Outstanding Diver with 32 points. Gillian Pratt was second in that race with 28 points for the meet. Beata Maruszczyk of Lindenwood finished as the meet's Most Outstanding Swimmer with 128 points, while Celeste Turner (116 points) and Maddy Lavoie (112 points) finished fourth and sixth for the award.
