CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University men's swimming and diving team swept a pair of meets over the weekend against Rhodes College while failing to win an event title in just three races between the Friday and Saturday meets.

INSIDE THE LANE LINES
DAY 1 RESULTS
- The 400 yard medley relay team of Tucker Schroer, AJ Williams, Alex Miller, and Joao Rosa won with a time of 3:29.84.
- Devin Wise won the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:20.84.
- John Stewart claimed the win in the 400 yard individual medley with a time of 4:00.73.
- Savio Ragonesi was the top finisher in the 200 yard freestyle, as he came in second with a time of 1:44.00.
- Miller won the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.78.
- Carson Traylor took the victory in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:52.98.
- Rosa won his first collegiate event in the 100 yard free with a time of 47.37.
- Giulio Brugnoni won the 200 yard backstroke in 1:53.03.
- Benjamin Kelly had the best finish in the 500 yard freestyle, coming in second with a time of 4:49.61.
- The relay team of Brugnoni, Emanuel Fava, Schroer, and Federico Bracco won the 400 yard freestyle relay in 3:07.29.
DAY 2 RESULTS
- The 200 yard medley relay team of Brugnoni, Ragonesi, Bracco, and Schroer won with a time of 1:30.18.
- Stewart took first in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:31.16, while Bracco won the 200 freestyle in 1:44.01.
- Brugnoni coasted to victory in the 100 yard backstroke with a winning time of 48.04, which was six seconds faster than anyone else.
- Fava won the 100 yard breaststroke in 57.32.
- Traylor easily won the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:56.20.
- Schroer won the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.55, then turned around and won the 100 freestyle in 45.38.
- Noble Reynolds won the 200 yard backstroke in 1:54.15.
- Stewart took his second title of the day with a win in the 500 freestyle with a 4:40.20 finish.
- Brugnoni also won the 100 yard butterfly in 47.65.
- Fava continued to dominate the 200 individual medley easily winning with a time of 1:52.15.
- In the last race of the weekend, the 200 free relay team of Brugnoni, Schroer, Miller, and Bracco won the event with a time of 1:22.05.
ON THE BOARDS
- Hunter McCarter scored a 272.92 on day one and 399.08 on day two on the one-meter diving board, and also tallied a 228.53 on the three-meter board.
