MOBILE, Ala. -- The Delta State University women's soccer team closed out the season at Spring Hill College with a 5-1 win. Five different Lady Statesmen would score at different moments to help the Lady Statesmen move past the Badgers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Statesmen grabbed a 1-0 lead with a Diana Okechukwu goal with an assist from Rainey Niles.
- Niamh Jestin would extend the Lady Statesmen lead 2-0 as she scored with a goal as Lavinia Horning was awarded the assist.
- Mia Ramirez would score her second goal of the season to go ahead 3-0. Jestin would get the assist for the Green and White.
- Niles would assist Carra Hymel as she added her third goal of the season to move the Lady Statesmen ahead 4-0 on the Badgers.
- Rylee McGee scored her third goal of the season to extend the Lady Statesmen lead 5-0. Hymel assisted McGee in the last scoring run of the match.
- Spring Hill will tack on one goal to bring the score 5-1 but it would not be enough to stop the Lady Statesmen.
