PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Delta State University Lady Statesmen swim team dropped both dual meets on Saturday morning in Pensacola, Fla.
DSU fell to NSISC rival UWF and division three power Emory University.

INSIDE THE ROPES
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Madelyn Byrd, Madison Lavoie, Celeste Turner, and Danielle Solkow took second with a time of 1:48.08
- Byrd came in third in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.60.
- Lavoie was third as well in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.37.
- Madison Lavoie was first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.10.
- Byrd came in second with the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:06.69.
- Peyton Osborn was fourth in the 500-yard free finishing it in 5:15.85.
- Lavoie came in fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:28.32.
- Turner was third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.89.
- Osborn took third in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:46.77.
- The final race of the day was the 400-yard freestyle relay and the team of Martina Rossetti, Lavoie, Danielle Solkow, and Turner came in second with a time of 3:37.51.
ON THE BOARDS:
- Gillian Pratt came in third on the one-meter dive with a score of 259.20.
- Hannah Babcock came in third on the three-meter dive with a score of 243.70.
