CLEVELAND, Miss. -- AJ Williams, Jakob Broughman, and
Jawone Blankenship all earned wins as the Delta State University men's swimming and diving team won three events to stake DSU to the lead after night one of the NSISC Championships.

INSIDE THE LANE LINES
- The 200-yard medley relay saw Berk Ozkul, Savio Ragonesi, Alex Miller, and Emanuel Fava come in second with a time of 1:29.03.
- Jakob Broughman won his first ever 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:21.05.
- John Stewart finished in third with a time of 9:28.52 in the 1000-yard freestyle.
- AJ Williams won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:50.19, good enough for a NCAA "B" consideration time.
- Emanuel Fava took second in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:50.90.
- Tucker Schroer came in second in the 50-yard free with a time of 20.44.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Federico Bracco, Schroer, Fava, and Miller came in second with a time of 1:21.54.
ON THE BOARDS
- Blankenship handily won the one-meter diving competition with a score of 484.70.
- Nicolas Stark was third with a score of 390.70
