CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University women's tennis team cruised to a 6-1 victory over the Shorter Hawks in their opening contest of the Gulf South Conference season on Wednesday afternoon at the Cleveland Country Club.
The win marked the first career win for Lady Statesmen head coach Trey Seymour in his debut match.
