CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The NCAA has the Delta State University baseball team ranked eighth in the South Region in the first set of rankings released on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
The University of Tampa tops the poll followed by Valdosta State, St. Leo, Montevallo, Rollins, Florida Southern and Nova Southeastern.
The Statesmen close out the 2022 regular season with a three-game series against Christian Brothers University this weekend at Harvey Stadium-Ferriss Field. The series begins with a doubleheader on Saturday at 2 p.m. followed by a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
