Box Score CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University women's soccer team defeated the Lady Warhawks of the University of Auburn-Montgomery 3-1, Sunday at Delta Field. Senior Lady Statesman
Rainey Niles scored at the 16:50 mark of the first half to give DSU a 1-0 lead they took into halftime. That lead held until senior Forward Mayson Jaindl tied the game with a UAM goal 10 minutes into second half play.
Delta State sealed the victory with the game winner by sophomore

Hannah James at the 57:45 mark. DSU led in Shots On Goal 6-2, Corner Kicks 7-1. AUM held the free kick advantage 9-6.
Bailey Daugherty had 3 saves in goal for the Lady Statesmen.
Delta State improves to 3-3, (1-1 GSC) on the season while AUM drops to 0-4 (0-2 GSC).

The Lady Statesmen will have non-conference play Tuesday, September 13 at 6:00 pm vs. Millsaps University in Jackson, MS and return to Gulf South Conference play next weekend as they travel to Shorter University on Friday and Lee University on Sunday.
