Lady Statesmen Fall at Lee

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Lady Statesmen (5-4 overall, 2-2-0 GSC) played another hard road game on Sunday, but two headers by the Lee Lady Flames (5-0-3, 3-0-1) were the difference in their 2-0 loss. Lee only out-shot Delta State 11-7 (5-2 on goal), but it was enough to keep their streak of 28 games without a loss alive.

Delta State goalkeeper Bailey Daugherty made three saves in her 90 minutes of work. The Lady Statesmen recieved shot opportunities for Casey Stalder, Ava Webster, Robyn Moody, Ilse Holtkamp, Ella McQueen, and Sasha Clare, with Stalder and Clare credited for being on-goal.
