CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University Women's Soccer team hosted the University of West Georgia this Sunday for a GSC matchup. The Lady Statesmen hosted Youth Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Day. The first half of the match would see both teams equal four shots each and a 0-0 tie at the half.
Avery Allison scored the game winning goal in the 61
st minute of the match to give DSU the 1-0 lead. The Green and White Defense held the Wolves to a shutout and
Bailey Daugherty had five saves in the match.
