Cleveland, Miss.-- The Delta State University Men's Soccer traveled to Huntsville, Alabama for a GSC
semifinal match with the Argonauts of West Florida. DSU returned to the conference finals for the first
time in a decade. The Argos would come out quickly to test the Statesmen's defense by attacking
quickly. UWF would score in the 25 th minute of the match and go into the half with the lead. West
Florida would get their second goal in the 59 th minute to extend the lead to 2-0. The Statesmen would
battle back but run out of time falling to the Argos in the GSC Championship.
