LAFAYETTE, La. -- Delta State Softball began Day 2 of the Mardi Gras Invitational with a 6-3 loss to the Harding Lady Bisons. The Lady Statesmen fell behind early to the Lady Bisons, but kept themselves in the game thanks to eight hits from seven different players. The bats stayed hot with 10 hits against the Muleriders, but the SAU offense proved too much in their 15-5 win.
