CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University Men's soccer team opened the Jackman era on the road with a contest against Eckerd College. The first half would see both teams tied at 0-0. Eckerd would score their first in the 47^th minute and then they netted their second goal at the 57th minute mark.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Eckerd got on the board early in the second half of the match. In the forty-seventh minute by Fredrik Heise.
The second Triton goal came in the 57th minute on a shot by Tommy Shepard.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
DSU had nine shots to Eckerd's 14. However, Eckerd had ten shots on goal to Delta State's six.
