Memphis, Tenn. -- Delta State University and St. Leo University both had opportunities in a 0-0 draw Friday (Sept. 13) in Memphis, Tenn.
Alfie Lally had Delta State's best chance in his first appearance with an indirect free kick in St. Leo's box. Lally shot the free kick which deflected into the St. Leo goal, but a miscommunication required the free kick to be retaken. The Statesmen were unsuccessful on the second attempt.
Mason Baglio only faced two shots on goal and saved both as the Statesmen and Baglio record their second clean sheet of the season. Offensively, the Statesmen had few chances as they only had three shots on goal compared to St. Leo's 2 shots on goal.
The Statesmen (1-1-1) will be back in action in Memphis, Tenn again on Sunday (Sept. 15) at 10:00 AM against Florida Southern College.
