JACKSON, MISS. – The Delta State University Women's Soccer Team fought to the finish with Texas A&M International (0-2-2) Friday morning but neither squad could find the end of the net in a 0-0 tie at the Belhaven Bowl Stadium at Belhaven University.
 
The Lady Statesmen had six total shots on goal including two from senior Chloe Jackson.
In the cage, Olivia Griffin had a season high five saves for the Lady Statesmen facing 12 total shots.
 
The Lady Statesmen (1-1-1) will start Gulf South Conference play next Friday as they head to Mobile, Ala., to face the Badgers of Spring Hill College. That match will kick off at 1:00 p.m. (CDT).
