PENSACOLA, FLA. – The Delta State University Men's Soccer Team (1-2-3, 0-1-1 GSC) had a outstanding performance in goal from junior 
Mason Baglio in 2-2 tie with the University of West Florida Sunday (Sept. 22) afternoon.
 
Baglio notched a career-high nine saves while facing 18 shots (11 on goal) as the Statesmen earn a point with the tie.
 
After falling behind 1-0, Delta State would score two unanswered starting with 
James Lynch's first goal of the season with 28:42 to go in the first half. Lynch would put one in the top right-hand corner of the net after 
Clair Cox IV would take a deflection from a free kick to equalize the match at 1-1.
 
Six minutes later, 
Braden Taylor would score on a counterattack as he made a move outside the box to put it past the keeper to give the Statesmen a 2-1 lead.
 
The Argonauts would tie the match up with a goal at the 78
th minute mark.
 
The Statesmen will wrap up their five-game road stretch as they continue GSC play next Friday (Sept. 27) at Christian Brothers University. The match will kick off at 7:00 p.m.
