TYLER, Texas – The Delta State University Men's Tennis Team (1-3, 0-0 GSC) fell 4-0 to the no. 16 ranked Patriots from UT Tyler Monday afternoon at the Summers Tennis Center in Tyler, Texas.
 
In Doubles action the team of Hector Ortiz and Sebastian Hernandez battled in a tight contest but fell 6-4. The team of Tom Rance and Jacob Lubbe were tied 4-4.
 
Ortiz was in a back-and-forth match in the no.1 singles as he was tied 2-2 in the second set.
 
The Statesmen are back in action this Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., at the Cleveland Country Club as they will host the Argonauts from the University of West Florida.
