TYLER, Texas – The Delta State University Tennis team (0-3, 0-0 GSC) lost to the Patriots from the University of Texas at Tyler 4-0 Monday afternoon from the Summers Tennis Center in Tyler, Texas.
 
The doubles team of Angie Moreno and Lara Torres were up 5-4 before the doubles point went to the Patriots.
 
In singles action, Yasmina Mayer won her first set 6-2 and was in a battle in set two trailing 6-5 before UT Tyler clinched the 4-0 win.
 
The Lady Statesmen are back in action this upcoming Wednesday as they host the Argonauts from the University of West Florida. That match will start at 11:00 a.m., (CDT) at the Cleveland Country Club
