CLEVELAND, Miss. – Head Baseball Coach Rodney Batts has announced a kid's camp for June 16-18.

The camp's purpose is to assist participants in improving their baseball skills and developing proper playing habits. The friendship and learning of sportsmanship and related athletic values are additional benefits. Emphasis is on teaching fundamentals and essential skills in all phases of the game: hitting, base running, and fielding. Individual attention is given to each camper at their chosen position. Intra-squad games are played daily. 

Every effort is made to assist campers in using their knowledge in game situations in order to develop necessary physical and mental skills. Hard work and fun are coordinated to provide a pleasant atmosphere and a proper learning environment. We make every effort for the camp to be an experience each participant will enjoy.

Cost: $120 | $100 for Delta State employees
Where to Report: 8:30-9 a.m. (daily) | Harvey Stadium-Ferriss Field
What to Bring: Practice clothes and shoes will be needed in addition to a glove or mitt and batting helmet. Games cannot be played in shorts, but they can be worn during practice sessions.
