MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Delta State University Men's Tennis Team (2-10, 0-4 GSC) fell to the Falcons from the University of Montevallo (4-4, 2-2 GSC) 5-2 Thursday afternoon at the UM Tennis Court Complex in Montevallo
 
The Statesmen got their two points in Singles action as no. 50 Hector Ortiz defeated Paul Sobich in three sets (7-5, 6-7, 6-1) in the no. 1 match.
 
In the no. 5 singles match, Jacob Lubbe would defeat Gabriel Variano in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) improving his record to 2-4 in no. 5 singles action.
 
The Statesmen continue their road trip to Cleveland, Tenn., to take on the Flames from Lee University tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m. (CDT).
