BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Delta State University Baseball's senior right-handed pitcher Logan Eldridge is this week's Gulf South Conference Pitcher of the Week announced by the conference office this morning.
 
The Arlington, Tenn., native earned the honors for the first time in his career after he completed the Statesmen's three-game sweep against Alabama Huntsville with a complete game performance with eight strikeouts Sunday afternoon.
 
The complete game marked the second consecutive complete game performance by Eldridge this season as he holds a 4-2 record with 31 strikeouts in 42.2 innings pitched in the 2024 season.
 
The Statesmen hit the road for a mid-week non-conference game against the Reddies of Henderson State University this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. (CDT).
