CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University Men's Tennis Team (2-13, 0-6 GSC) fell to the Buccaneers from Christian Brothers University (9-8, 1-7 GSC) 5-2 Monday afternoon at the Cleveland Country Club.
 
The Statesmen got two points in singles action starting at the no. 1 singles spot where Hector Ortiz won (6-1, 6-1) over Juan Ycaza
 
In no. 5 singles, Jacob Lubbe earned another point in straight sets with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Alexandre Randoux.
 
In doubles action the team of Lubbe and Sebastian Hernandez won the no. 1 singles match 6-4.
 
The Statesmen are back in action this Thursday at the Cleveland Country Club as they will host the Choctaws from Mississippi College for USTA Kids Day. The Match will start at 2:00 p.m. (CDT).
