CLEVELAND, Miss. - Due to inclement weather this weekend, the season openers for the Delta State University baseball and tennis teams will be postponed.  

The Delta State University Tennis Team's match against the University of Arkansas Fort Smith held on Sunday at Memphis will be postponed to a date to be determined. The Statesmen and Lady Statesmen tennis teams will be back in action on February 12th as they head to Richardson, Texas, to take on the Comets from the University of Texas at Dallas.  

Monday and Tuesday's games between the Delta State University baseball team and Harding University will be postponed and will be rescheduled at a date to be determined. The Statesmen will open their 2026 season on the road as they will take on the Badgers from Spring Hill College with a three-game series starting next Friday February 6th at 5:00 p.m. (CT).
