CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University baseball team moved up to no. 4 in the NCAA Division II South Region Rankings announced this afternoon.
 
The Statesmen are one of six teams in the Gulf South Conference that are in the top ten rankings
 
Joining the Statesmen are West Florida (39-13), West Alabama (32-15), Mississippi College (27-24), Lee University (36-17), and Trevecca Nazarene (32-21). The remaining four schools are from the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) in Tampa (37-8), Rollins (32-13), Nova Southeastern (28-19) and Florida Southern (25-20).
 
This Sunday, the top eight teams in the South Region will be announced and partake in the 2026 NCAA Division II National Tournament.
