2012 (Junior): Helped guide Statesmen to 12th Gulf South Conference championship, 11th NCAA South Region title and 11th NCAA College World Series appearance...DSU finished second overall as national runner-up...Named Second Team All-GSC and Second Team ABCA All-Region after posting a 7-3 record with a 3.01 ERA and a save...Appeared in 19 games with 17 starts for the Statesmen...Pitched 125.2 innings allowing just 54 runs on 114 hits with a mere 23 walks and 104 strikeouts...Finished the season ranked 11th in the NCAA in strikeouts (104) and second in games started (17)...Had the 3rd lowest ERA in the GSC among regular starters...Led GSC in innings pitched with 125.2 and batters struck out looking (34)...Career-high 13 strikeouts in 9-3 win over Valdosta State...Made two key relief appearances to help keep the Statesmen alive in the NCAA South Region Tournament, including 2.2 innings and a save versus Stillman College.

2011 (Sophomore): Turned in one of the top sophomore seasons in the country after missing the first month of the season...Pitched in 11 games for the Statesmen with 10 starts...Posted a 7-2 record with a 2.59 ERA...In 76.1 innings pitched, Branstetter allowed 33 runs on 68 hits with a league-low 11 walks and 49 strikeouts...Opponents batted just .237 against him...Tossed five complete games to rank third in GSC this season...Career-high 12 strikeouts in DSU's 10-0 series sealing win over Southern Arkansas (3.26)...Named to All-GSC West Division First Team as a starter.

2010 (Freshman): Appeared in eight games with starts for the Statesmen pitching staff...Posted a 3-2 record as a starter with a 5.06 ERA...Pitched 32 innings...Allowed 29 runs, 18 earned, on 44 hits with 11 walks and 22 strikeouts...Opponents batted .324 against him...Earned first career win at Nova Southeastern (11-4) on Feb. 6, working 2.2 innings while allowing three runs on two hits...Career-high five strikeouts at Montevallo (4/14/10)...Threw a season and career high 6.0 innings twice last year, Abilene Christian (3/17/10) and Montevallo (4/14/10)...Named to GSC Academic Honor Roll.
