2016 COSIDA Academic All-District Team

2016 (SENIOR): Played in all 17 games, drawing 16 starts as a midfielder...Team leader in goals (6), points (15), shots (28), and shots on goal (16)...Registered three assists...Tied the school record for most goals in a game with a hat trick against Alcorn State (9/13)...Scored the game-winning goal against Shorter (10/21), handing the Lady Statesmen their first conference win since 2014...Became the first Lady Statesman soccer player to be named to the COSIDA Academic All-District Team (2016)...Finished her career playing in 58 games, scoring eight goals, registering three assists, totaling 19 points and attempting 63 shots...Tied for second in school history in game-winning goals (three) and tied for ninth in career goals (eight). 

2015 (JUNIOR):  Played in 17 games, drawing 12 starts as a midfielder...scored one goal...third on the team with 20 shots and second with 14 shots on goal...tallied a goal on three shots, all on goal, in a 5-0 win over Louisiana College (9/29)...took a season-high five shots in a 6-1 win over MIllsaps College (10/6).

2014 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 15 games with three starts for the Lady Statesmen...scored one goal against Talladega for two points on the season...attempted 14 shots, four on goal.

2013 (FRESHMAN): Played in nine games as a midfielder, recording two shots.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Banchory Academy in Aberdeenshire, Scotland...participated in soccer and track and field

PERSONAL: Catherine Elizabeth Thomson...daughter of Mark and Emma Thomson...has two brothers, Daniel and George...majoring in exercise science
