JUCO: Team captain at Mississippi Delta Community College for Coach Michael Avalon...compiled a 2-5 record and a 4.27 ERA in 59 innings of work, fanning 41 batters as a sophomore…tossed two complete games, including one shutout…pitched 48.2 innings during his freshman campaign and finished the season with a 4-4 record, tossing a no-hitter.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned letters in football (3), basketball (4) and baseball (4) at Philadelphia High School in Philadelphia, Mississippi…team captain and three-time all-state player in basketball…warned receiver award and named all-district in football twice…team captain and three-time all-state selection in baseball…finished second in the 4x200 track relay and third in the 100-meter dash at the state championship…member of Mu Alpha Theta.
