Biography

CAREER: Played in 110 game with 103 starts at third base...finished his DSU career with a .280 average, 19 doubles, one triple, four home runs, 62 RBIs and 65 runs scored...helped the Statesmen capture two GSC Regular Season titles (2017, 2018), the GSC Tournament Championships (2017), the 2017 NCAA Division II South Region Championship and advanced to the 2017 NCAA Division II World Series.

2018 (Senior): Helped the Statesmen to a 42-11 overall record and the Gulf South Conference regular-season title with a 23-5 mark...hit .278 with eight doubles, one triple, two home runs and 31 RBIs...ranked second in the GSC and 13th in the NCAA with seven sac flies...had six stolen bases in eight attempts...scored 32 runs and 47 hits...registered seven multi-RBI games and 11 multi-hit games...went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI at West Alabama (3.17)...went 3-for-4 with one run scored, one RBI and a stolen base against Christian Brothers (3.31)...had three hits and drove in three runs against Lee University (4.15)...belted home runs against Arkansas Tech (4.17) and at Quincy University (2.18).

2017 (Redshirt Junior): Helped the Statesmen finish 45-13 and 25-8 in the GSC, winning their 14th GSC title and 12th NCAA Regional Championship while making their 12th NCAA Division II College World Series appearance…played in 55 games with 53 starts at third base…had a season-high three hits against Christian Brothers (4.1) and Mississippi Valley State (4.18)…drove in three runs against Christian Brothers (4.1) and Mississippi College (4.29)…hit home runs against Arkansas Monticello (4.18) and Mississippi College (4.29).

2016 (Junior): Received a medical redshirt after suffering an injury against Palm Beach (2.12)...

JUCO:  Spent two seasons at Baton Rouge Community College in Baton Rouge, La., after signing out of high school with the University of New Orleans in 2013…played for Coach LJ Dupuy at BRCC…started 41 games at shortstop and played in 42 of 48 games…hit. .291 with six doubles, two triples, two home runs and 18 RBIs and stole 10-of-12 bases...struck out just 10 times in 118 at-bats and drew 24 walks and was hit by a pitch four times.

UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS (2014): Played in 36 games while getting the starting call 29 times...Hit .228 with five RBIs and eight runs...Collected a hit in six of first seven appearances on the season including multi-hit games against Indiana State and Troy...Had a season-high three hits in an Apr. 19 contest against Southeastern.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Played at Mandeville High School under Coach Rowland Skinner...Was selected to the Louisiana All-Star Game...Three-year starter with the Skippers...Hit nine career home runs, and was named St. Tammany Player of the Week in March, 2013.
