2017 GSC All-Tournament Team

CAREER:
 Played in 108 games with 102 starts at short stop during his two seasons at Delta State...finished with a .269 (95-for-353) batting average and had 15 doubles, four home runs adn 57 RBIs...stole 10 bases in 12 attempts......registerd 25 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games...helped the Statesmen capture two GSC Regular Season titles (2017, 2018), the GSC Tournament Championships (2017), the 2017 NCAA Division II South Region Championship and advanced to the 2017 NCAA Division II World Series.

2018 (Senior): Helped the Statesmen to a 42-11 overall record and the Gulf South Conference regular-season title with a 23-5 mark...hit .309 with eight doubles, one home run and 17 RBIs...stole eight bases in 12 attempts...tallied 17 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games...had three-hit performances (4) against Arkansas Monticello (4.3), Lee University (4.15), Ouachita Baptist (4.24) and Mississippi College (5.8 - GSC Tournament)...went 2-for-5 with three runs scored and a grand slam against nationally ranked Nova Southeastern (2.3)...drove in three runs versus Arkansas Monticello (4.3)...hit by a pitch 13 times which ranked seventh in the GSC...

2017 (Junior): Helped the Statesmen finish 45-13 and 25-8 in the GSC, winning their 14th GSC title and 12th NCAA Regional Championship while making their 12th NCAA Division II College World Series appearance…started 57 of 58 games at shortstop…finished with a .234 average, seven doubles, three home runs, 30 RBIs and 30 runs scored…recorded eight multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games…had a 15-game reached base streak and a long hitting streak of 10 games…went 2-for-5 with four RBIs and a home run to help the Statesmen claim a 19-17 comeback win over Valdosta State (5.8) in the GSC Tournament…collected home runs against Harding University (2.5) and Southern Arkansas (2.22).

JUCO: Played for former Statesmen player and assistant coach Rodney Batts at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, Miss…started 46 games at shortstop, batting .347 with seven doubles, two triples, three home runs and 34 RBIs in 2016…earned MJCAA Second-Team All-State honors in 2016…helped lead the New Orleans Boosters to the AAABA National Championship in 2015…As a freshman in 2015, saw action in 29 games batting 337 with two doubles, a home run and 10 RBIs.
 
PREP: Coached by Mark Weinmunson at Mandeville High School in Mandeville, La…earned First-Team All-District and played in the LHSAA All-Star Game…saw time at catcher and shortstop during his MHS career.
