SENIOR (2018): Raced to a 19:53.2 and a 9th place finish at the Central Arkansas Invitational 5K (9.8)...ran a 19:24.5 to finish 14th in the Jacksonville State Invitational 5K (9.29)...Posted the second-fastest 5K in school history at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Invitational 5K (10.13), running an 18:47.2 and finishing 16th overall...finished 11th, in 19:27.4, at the Mississippi College Invitational 5K (10.20)...Ran a 19:00.13 at the Gulf South Conference Championships 5K to collect All-GSC Honors to help the Lady Statesmen finish 9th...Rounded out her Lady Statesmen career with a 25:07.1 to finish 76th overall at the NCAA Division II South Regional 6K in Lakeland, Fla. 

JUNIOR (2017): Started the season strong averaging a 6:25 mile pace to finish in less than 16 minutes in the Mississippi College Invitational (4K)…finished 6th overall in a time of 18:14 in the University of Central Arkansas Challenge (5K), shaving 20 seconds off her previous mile place…crossed the finish line at the UCA challenge as the first D2 finisher by over 10 seconds and had one of the field’s fastest miles with a time of 5:56…placed 40th overall in a time of 20:10 in the Trevecca Nazarenne University DII showcase (5K)…helped the Lady Statesmen in a 4th place overall finish with a time of 24:20, placing 15th in the Mississippi College Watson Ford Invite (6K)…cracked the DSU’s all-time top-ten list by finishing 35th with a time of 19:25 in the GSC championships (5K)…beat her previous PR of 19:42 by 17 seconds, tying her time for the ninth fastest in school history…set another personal best recorded in the NCAA DII South Regional meet (6K), turning in a time of 23:53.08 with a 48th place finished overall. named Delta State University’s Athlete of the Week (9/4).

SOPHOMORE (2016): Led the Lady Statesmen in the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic (5K) to open the year, registering a time of 20:05 and placing 98th overall in a field of 229 runners...missed the remainder of the competitive season due to injury. 

FRESHMAN (2015): Placed 15th overall at the Jacksonville State Invitational (4K) with a time of 16:08...posted a 24:09 6K at the Rhodes College Invitational, putting herself 15th on the all-time fastest DSU 6K list...notched a 3rd place finish overall with a time of 19:42 at the DSU Invitational (5K)...finished eighth overall with a time of 19:44, tying for the 20th fastest 5K race in DSU cross country history at the Mississippi College Choctaw Open...helped the Lady Statesmen to a 10th place finish at the GSC Championships by finishing 33rd overall in 19:53...was a two-time GSC Freshman of the Week selection in her first year with the Lady Statesmen. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in basketball, cross country, and track...coached at Carroll Academy by Brenda Corley…led her track team to two state championships and was named team runner up and a six-time medalist at the state track meet…State champion in the 3200m, 800m and 4x400 relay...District MVP and MAIS All-Star team selection...was team MVP, and also made the All-Conference team.

PERSONAL: Sarah Maria Mumme...daughter of Matt and Donna Mumme...has five brothers, Matthew, Nick, Jeremy, Doug, and Timmy…also has one sister, Carroll...majoring in Biology with a minor in Exercise Science.
