Biography

2019-20 (RS SENIOR): Made four relief appearances on the mound before the season ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic…posted a 0.96 ERA and a 1-0 record…had eight strikeouts and walked seven batters while giving up four runs, one earned, on six hits over 9.1 innings pitched…gave up two unearned runs on one hit with a season-high four strikeouts in game three of the East Central (2.2) series…equaled his season-high with four punchouts while tossing a season-high 4.1 innings against Auburn-Montgomery (3.7).

2019 (RS JUNIOR): Helped the Statesmen to a 42-14 overall record and a 20-9 mark in the Gulf South Conference while winning the school's 15th GSC title and a runner-up finish in the NCAA South Region... made five relief appearances, making his first collegiate start against Mississippi Valley State (4.9)...went 1-0, giving up four hits with nine strikeouts against five walks in 9.1 scoreless innings pitched...gave up two hits and struck out two in 2.1 scoreless innings in his start at Mississippi Valley State...had two strikeouts against East Central (2.1) and Southern Arkansas (3.27)...hitters had a .133 batting average against.

2018: Redshirted.

JUCO: Played for former Statesmen Sam Temple at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Miss…helped HCC to the 2016-17 region championship...made 24 appearances, two starts, with 28 strikeouts against 18 walks in two seasons…went 1-1 with one save and a 5.18 ERA as a sophomore…posted a 3.86 ERA with a save over 21 innings as a freshman…struck out 16 and walked eight…named Phi Theta Kappa and to the national two-year honor society.
 
PREP: Three-year letterman for Coach Connor Douglas at Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, Miss…earned All-County honors in 2015…finished his career with an 11-3 record and 2.97 ERA on the mound…also carried a .338 career batting average…helped lead the Vikings to the 2015 district championship and was named to the Best of MSPreps All-State team by The Clarion-Ledger at the conclusion of his final season…member of the National Honor Society and graduated with honors from WC
