GSC PITCHER OF THE WEEK (2.15.22)
2022:
- Started in 27 games for the Lady Statesmen
- Finished the season with 19 hits, a .288 batting average, and added seven doubles, three home runs, and 14 RBI
- Threw 58.2 innings in the circle with a 2-5 record
- Struck out 30 batters, walked 34, and had a 4.62 ERA
- Had a four RBI game against Harding
- Hit the game winning double over Lee
2021:
- Started in 28 games for the Lady StatesmenÂ
- Finished the season with nine hits and six RBI
- Threw 104.2 innings in the circle for DSU with an 4.82 ERA
- Had 81 strikeouts and 55 walks for a 5-12 record
- Struck out a season high ten batters against UAM
2020:
- Appeared in 17 games and made 16 starts for the Lady Statesmen before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Finished the season with a 4-10 record and posted a 4.65 ERA
- Led the Lady Statesmen rotation in strikeouts with 59 and recorded two shutout performances against Midwestern St. (2.8) and Arkansas Monticello (3.9)
ITAWAMBA COMMUNITY COLLEGE
- Set the all-time wins record at ICC (46), while also setting school records in strikeouts (273), ERA (1.74) and wins in a single-season with 27
- Finished her sophomore campaign with a 27-6 record (fourth in the nation), a 1.81 ERA (twelfth in the nation) and struck out 168 batters (tenth in the nation)
- Her standout sophomore season earned her NJCAAÂ All-Region and MACJC All-State First Team honors
- Also named the MACJC Pitcher of the Year
HIGH SCHOOL:
- Played softball and basketball at Grenada High School
- Was a First Team All-District selection and was named the MVP from 2014-2017 in softball
- Named the Best Defensive Player in 2013
- Currently the all-time strike out leader at Grenada with 568 strikeouts
