2009: Appeared in 10 games with three starts…Struck out 24 batters in 22 innings pitched while holding a 2.05 ERA…Finished the season with a 2-0 record while holding opponents to a .214 batting average…Became a go-to starter down the stretch last season for the Statesmen. 

MERIDIAN CC: Played two years under Chris Rose at Meridian...Helped the Eagles to the 2008 MACJC State Championship…Named the MCC Scholar Athlete of the Year and an Academic All-American in 2008…MCC’s first ever dual-sport male-athlete scholarship holder, as he also played soccer for the Eagles.

PREP: Started four years under Bart Jenkins at Starkville Academy…Went 11-0 during senior season with a 0.97 ERA…Earned All-State, All-Conference, All-District, and All-Area honors in 2006...Named Defensive MVP award…Excelled primarily in baseball and soccer, but was also a member of the football and basketball teams.
