BALANCING ACT: Thriving Through Change

Delta State University’s Administrative Staff Development Day will begin with breakfast and will follow with a slate of activities including Years of Service Awards, dynamic speakers, lunch, and field activities.  Amy Whitten will deliver the opening session presentation in Jobe Auditorium.  A dynamic pubic speaker, Ms. Whitten is highly sought after as a motivational speaker on varied topics relating to leadership, service, and personal development.  Participants will then be able to select two breakout sessions from topics on leadership, stress management, financial management, and health and wellness.   All activities will take place in Jobe Hall unless otherwise noted below. 

Participants are asked to register for this year’s event by clicking on the link below.  After clicking on the link, the event may be found under Workshops then Special Events.  You will need to register with the site in order to complete the process.  This is necessary to gauge the number of participants attending and to prepare the take-home bags for each attendee.

This event is open to all DSU employees.  Employees must have supervisory approval before attending events held during working hours. It is also at the supervisors’ discretion whether or not to allow all department employees to attend at the same time, depending upon the necessity of department coverage as the campus and offices will remain open.
