NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI: Played two years under Mark Carson...Helped Rangers to MACJC North Divisional Championship…Named Pre-Season All-American at Northwest…Had a 2.35 ERA and a record of 7-1 with 42 strikeouts in 40 innings pitched as a freshman…Had a 4.45 ERA with 37 strikeouts in 22.2 innings pitched and a record of 3-3 as a sophomore.

PREP: Went 14-3 with a 2.35 ERA while punching out 141 hitters in 101 innings of work during senior season…Also threw 12 complete games...Started four years under coach Doug Robbins at Water Valley HS…Named All-State...Helped WVHS to North-Half title in 2006 and disctict titles in 2005 and 2006…Also played football.
