2015 GSC Academic Honor Roll

2015 (Junior): Made six appearances with one start...went 0-1 with a save and 7.20 ERA...struck out six and walked four while allowing 11 runs, eight earned, on 15 hits...opponents had a .349 batting average while allowing seven doubles.

JUCO: Played for Coach Chris Rose at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi…tied for third in the MACJC with seven saves and posted a 5-2 record with a 3.15 ERA as the team’s closer.

High School:  Lettered in football, cross country and baseball at East Webster High School in Cumberland, Mississippi…was a pitcher and catcher under Coach Wes Johnson…participated in the NEMCAB and Mississippi All-Star games.

Personal:  Full name is Conner Ples Burton…born September 2, 1993…son of Johnny and Beverly Burton…has one sister, Courtney…majoring in criminal justice.
