Delta State University

2022:

• Helped the Statesmen to a 32-17 record, winning the 2022 GSC Regular season title with a 20-7 record and a NCAA Division II South Region berth. 
• Made 19 appearance with one start against nationally ranked Southern Arkansas.
• Posted a 2-2 record with three saves.
• Tossed a season-high 4.1 innings with five strikeouts against Alabama Huntsville (5.9.)
• Posted four strikeouts against Henderson State (4.27) and West Georgia (2.19).
• Did not allow a run in 10 of his 19 appearances.
• Threw 41.1 innings with 42 strikeouts against 32 walks. 
• Season-high 4.1 innings against Alabama Huntsville in the GSC Tournament. 

2021:

• Made four appearances with two starts in 2021
• Drew starts at Shorter (2.7) and West Georgia (2.27)
• Tossed 5.2 innings with eight strikeouts

• Made six starts on the mound in the rotation for DSU before the season ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic
• Tied for first and ranked 10th in the NCAA with six starts
• Posted a 2-1 record with a 4.56 ERA and ranked 16th in the GSC with 29 strikeouts against 12 walks in 25.2 innings of work
• Surrendered 13 runs on 29 hits
• Struck out a career-high nine batters and yielded no runs on a hit against Lynn (2.8) and Christian Brothers (2.21)
• Tossed a season-high seven innings at Alabama Huntsville (2.15) and threw 99 pitches against Christian Brothers (2.21)
• His 10.17 strikeouts per nine innings ranked 11th in the GSC

• Spent two season for Chris Kirtland at Jones Junior College in Ellisville, Miss.
• Made 26 appearances, including 22 starts
• Posted a 16-5 record and a 3.97 ERA while allowing 59 runs, 50 earned, on 92 hits in 113.2 innings pitched
• Registered 142 strikeouts against 56 walks
• As a freshman in 2018, he posted an 11-2 record with a  3.80 ERA, 79 strikeouts and 28 walks while yielding 30 runs, 28 earned on 50 hits in 66.1 innings pitched
• As a sophomore in 2019, Brune, went 5-3 with a 4.18 EAR, 63 strikeouts and 28 walks while giving up 229 runs, 22 earned, on 42 hits over 47.1 innings pitched
