2016 (Junior): Helped lead the Statesmen to a 42-17 overall record, Gulf South Conference championship and a runner-up finish in the NCAA South Region Tournament...Turned in one of the most decorated single seaons in DSU program history...Started 16 games for the Statesmen, posting a 12-3 record with a 2.65 ERA...In 112.0 innings pitched, allowed 43 runs, 33 earned, on 106 hits with 25 walks and a team-best 115 strikeouts...His 115 strikeouts ranked first in the GSC, sixth in NCAA D2 and fourth in DSU single-season history...Moats' 112.0 innings pitched also led the GSC and rank eighth in the program's single-season record book...Won his last five starts for the Statesmen, including three in the postseason...Opened the GSC Tournament with a 7-2 victory over Alabama-Huntsville (5.7) after working 7.0 innings with four strikjeouts...Claimed the 6-1 victory over Lynn in the opening round of the NCAA South Region Tournament after working 6.0 innings without allowing a run and five strikeouts...In his final outing of the year and the Statesmen facing elimination on championship day of the NCAA South Region Tournament, Moats threw a complete game, allowing one run on six hits with nine strikeouts, in a 3-1 victory to force the final game...Threw six complete games, including two shutouts...Struck out 10 or more batters four times, including a career-best 12 versus North Alabama (3.26) in a complete-game victory...Finished year tied for second in NCAA DII in victories (12).

JUCO: Played for Coach Roger Ward at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma…earned Region Gold Glove honors in 2015…appeared in 11 games with 10 starts and six complete games in 2015…posted a 7-3 record with a 2.59 ERA, 70 strikeouts and 15 walks in 62.2 innings pitched in 2015…recorded a season-high nine strikeouts against Arkansas Baptist on April 11, 2015.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  A three-sport standout in baseball, football and basketball at Park Hill High School in Kansas City, Missouri…drafted out of high school by the Kansas City Royals.
