2021: Made eight appearances, all starts on the mound...tossed 38.0 innings with 17 strikeouts against 12 walks...posted a 4.97 ERA, allowing 27 runs, 21 earned...hitters had a .280 batting average...tossed a season-high 7.0 innings with five strikeouts against Alabama Huntsville (5.9).

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISS 2020 (Sr.): Did not register a record in two relief appearances…threw five innings and fanned four and walked one...tossed 4 2/3 frames in first outing, allowing two runs (one earned) on a walk and four hits with four strikeouts for no decision against Central Arkansas (2/21)…made the Fall 2019 semester Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…2019 (Jr.): Appeared in 16 games, including two starts…posted a 1-1 record and a 6.21 ERA with 21 strikeouts and 11 walks over 29 innings of work…threw season-high six innings in final game of the year against LSU (6/2) in the regional…despite suffering the loss, he gave his team a chance to stay in the game after they beat Arizona State in comeback fashion earlier in the day…threw three innings of shutout relief at New Orleans (4/24) to earn his lone victory over the year…fanned season-high four over two innings in first appearance of the year against Purdue (2/15)…only walked more than one batter in one outing during the year…made the Fall 2018 semester Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…collected a C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection.

JUCO: Registered a 9-2 record over 13 starts for coach Rodney Batts…put together a 2.48 earned run average with 76 strikeouts over 80 innings of work for MGCCCm…Named a third-team NJCAA Student-Athlete award…collected a 3-5 with a 5.01 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 50.1 innings as a freshman…batted .409 with one home run and six RBI in 22 at bats.

HIGH SCHOOL: Voted second-team all-state at utility by the ASWA and honorable mention all-area by AL.com at Theodore High School for coach Bo Smith during his senior campaign…as a junior, batted .424 with 22 RBI, and went 8-3 with a 1.68 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 62.1 innings for coach Bo Smith Theodore High School...Named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A All-State second team as a junior.

PERSONAL: Josh Lewis...son of Pete and Lynda Lewis...born in Mobile, Ala...has two sisters, Emilee and Avery.majoring in exercise science.
