CAREER: Elected to forgo his senior year after being accepted in the Naval Officer Candidate school...hit .314 with 16 doubles, three triples, four home runs and 54 RBIs while playing in 120 games with 96 career starts...helped the Statesmen capture two GSC Regular Season titles (2017, 2018), two GSC Tournament Championships (2016, 2017), the 2017 NCAA Division II South Region Championship, the 2016 NCAA South Region Runner-up and advanced to the 2017 NCAA Division II World Series.
2018 (RS Junior): Helped the Statesmen to a 42-11 overall record and the Gulf South Conference regular season title with a 23-5 mark...played in 41 games with 33 starts in left field...hit .333 (39-for-117) with six doubles, one triple, 25 runs scored and 14 RBIs...had six stolen bases in seven attempts...recorded 11 multi-hit games and had two multi-RBI games...had a 12-game hitting streak and a 14 game reached base streak during the year...closed the season reaching base safely in the final seven games...went 3-for-5 with a triple and a run scored against nationally ranked Quincy University...went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored at West Georgia (3.9)...went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in his final regular season game against Mississippi College (5.8)...went 2-for-4 in the final game of his career versus Mississippi College (5.22) in the NCAA South Region tournament.
2017 (RS Sophomore): Helped the Statesmen finish 45-13 and 25-8 in the GSC, winning their 14
th GSC title and 12
th NCAA Regional Championship while making their 12
th NCAA Division II College World Series appearance…played in 53 games with 48 starts…made 43 starts in left field, three at third base and two as the designated hitter…batted .299 with seven doubles, a triple, three home runs, 27 RBIs and 31 runs scored…stole 11 bases (11 attempts) …hit .333 (5-for-15) with a home run, two RBIs, and five runs scored in the GSC Tournament…led the Statesmen with a .364 average (4-for-11), a double and two RBIs at the NCAA Division II College World Series…opened the season with a 3-for-5, two runs scored and an RBI against Harding (2.4)…went 3-for-4 with two home runs, four runs scored and 4 RBIs in a series clinching game three win at Lee University (2.26)…went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, an RBI and a home run in the Statesmen 19-17 comeback win over Valdosta State (5.8) in the GSC Tournament…had 14 multi-hit games including three, three-hit games…recorded multi-RBIs in six games with one four RBIs outing.
2016 (RS Freshman):Â Played in 21 games with 15 starts at designated hitter or third base...hit .321 (17-for-53) scoring 15 runs with three doubles, a triple, a home run and 13 RBIs...stole three bases (three attempts)...walked six times and was hit by a pitch three times...had three multi-hit games, including a three-hit outing against Lee University (2/28)...four multi-RBI games, driving in four against Lee University (2.28)...hit his first career home run against Christian Brothers (4.2)...longest hitting streak was five games...went 3-for-4 (.750) as a pinch hitter.Â
2015 (Freshman): Redshirted.
PREP: Lettered in baseball and basketball at Arlington High School in Arlington, Tennessee…played in the middle infield for Coach Chris Ring…set records for most hits in a season (62) and highest batting average (.534) while being named 2014 District Player of the Year…help lead AHS to the 2012 Tennessee state championship…member of the Math and Spanish Honor Societies.
