Biography

NOTES: Returns to anchor the right side of the diamond for the Statesmen at first base...May also see time in the outfield...After making transition from OF to 1B, turned into one of the top defensive first basemen in the Gulf South Conference.

2008: Emerged in March as the starting first baseman for the Statesmen...Appeared in 51 games with 44 starts...Batted .359 with eight doubles, one triple, one home run, and 33 RBIs...Totaled 56 hits in 156 at-bats...Scored 35 runs...Committed only two errors all season for a .996 fielding percentage...Career-high three hits on three seperate occasions...Drove in a season-high four RBIs in DSU’s victory over Southern Arkansas (5/7/08) at the GSC Tournament in Millington, Tenn. at USA Stadium.

LINCOLN LAND CC: Started two years under Ron Riggle...Helped guide LCC to back-to-back regional championship appearances.

PREP: Played four seasons for Dave Greer at Pleasant Plains HS….Earned All-Conference and All-Area three straight seasons and All-State honors his senior year…Also won two conference tittles…Lettered in soccer and basketball.
