Career: Made 32 appearances, all starts, and tossed 15 complete games and four shutouts…finished with a 22-6 record and a 3.71 ERA along with 162 strikeouts against 55 walks in 199 innings pitched…ranks 10th in career wins (22) and is tied for fifth in career shutouts (4).
 
2017 (Senior): Helped the Statesmen finish 45-13 and 25-8 in the GSC, winning their 14th GSC title and 12th NCAA Regional Championship while making their 12th NCAA Division II College World Series appearance…made 16 appearances, all starts, finishing 9-4 with a 4.18 ERA, 92 strikeouts, and 25 walks…allowed 58 runs, 45 earned, in 97 innings of work…after a slow start to the season, Hobbs won five of his last six starts, including his last four starts…tossed a complete game with 13 strikeouts while allowing two runs, one earned, on seven hits to help the Statesmen claim a 9-2 over Alabama Huntsville (5.6) to open the GSC Tournament…gave up one run on four hits with six strikeouts over eight plus innings in a 4-1 win over Nova Southeastern (5.20) in the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament…tossed a complete game three-hit shutout with nine strikeouts and two walks against North Georgia (5.29) at the NCAA Division II College World Series…led the GSC with seven complete games (4th NCAA) and tied for first in starts (16) with teammate Seth Birdsong (7th NCAA)…also ranked third in innings pitched (97.0) and strikeouts (92)…nine wins ranked 29th nationally...recorded seven or more strikeouts seven times.

2016 (Junior): Help lead the Statesmen to a 42-17 overall record, Gulf South Conference championship and a runner-up finish in the NCAA South Region Tournament...turned in one of the most decorated single seaons in DSU program history...started 16 games for the Statesmen, posting a 13-2 record with a 3.18 ERA...In 102.0 innings pitched, allowed 51 runs, 36 earned, on 118 hits with 30 walks and 70 strikeouts...Threw eight complete games, tied for third in NCAA...led NCAA DII in victories (13)...Had stretch of six consecutive complete games between Feb. 20 and March 25...career-high 7.1 innings pitched versus West Georgia (3.11)...season-high nine strikeouts versus West Alabama (2.20) in a complete game victory...earned the victory over top-seed and No. 2 nationally ranked Tampa after throwing 6.1 innings, allowing five runs, two earned, with three walks and five strikeouts in a 7-5 victory at the NCAA South Region Tournament...semifinalist for the Bret Tomko Award, presented annually to the top pitcher in NCAA DII by PerfectGame.com.

JUCO: Earned First-Team MACJC All-State honors under Coach Michael Avalon at Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead, Mississippi…made 13 appearances, two starts, and posted a 5-4 record…struck out 48 batters, walked 26 and allowed 43 runs, 29 earned, in 63.1 innings pitched.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Played for Coach Boo Ellis at Riverside High School in Avon Mississippi...earned first-team all-state (senior) and second-team all-state (junior)…hit .473 with two home runs and 36 steals as a junior…closed out his career hitting .417 with three home runs and 27 steals while posting a 0.51 ERA on the mound his senior season.
