2019 (JUNIOR): Played and started six games at defensive back missing four games due to injury…helped the Statesmen to a 6-4 record…finished with 16 tackles, 14 solos, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack and three pass breakups…tallied four solo tackles and one sack in the season opener against Tusculum (9.5)…had three tackles, two solos, and two pass deflections against Florida Tech (9.21)…had three solo tackles and one PBU versus West Georgia (11.9)…added four tackles, three solos, in the season finale at Mississippi College (11.16)…the Statesmen defense led the GSC in total defense (309.2 ypg.), rush defense (122.0 ypg.) and sacks per game (2.70).

2018 (JUNIOR): Played in 10 games for the Statesmen at safety, including seven starts...recorded 46 tackles with one tackle-for-loss, one interception and 10 passes defended...career-high seven tackles versus North Greenville and at No. 3 West Georgia...lone interception came against North Greenville...broke up a career-best four passes versus No. 11 West Florida...ranked third in the GSC in passes defended with 10.

2017 (SOPHOMORE): Made the move to receiver in fall camp...helped the Statesmen to a 9-4 overall record and a second round appearance in the NCAA Division II Football Championship Playoff.

2016 (FRESHMAN): Played in eight games for the Statesmen...recorded 15 tackles with two pass break-ups...recorded a career-high three tackles versus four opponents...made collegiate debut versus Texas A&M-Commerce.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Greg Thomas at Choctaw High School in Fort Walton Beach, Fla...blocked three punts, racked up 25 interceptions and forced nine fumbles during his career for the Indians...earned 6A All-State honors and was Northwest Florida's Defensive Player of the Year...recognized as the Channel 3 News Play of the Week one time...named Most Improved Defensive Player on his team...garnered Defensive Player of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week honors...lettered in basketball and ran track.

PERSONAL: Christopher "Chris" Pickett...son of Crystal Simmons...has one brother Robert Sanders, and one sister, Camille Bonner..majoring in sports management.
