Ashly Salomonsky enters his first season as a graduate assistant with Statesmen football team under the direction of head coach Todd Cooley.
Salomonsky joins the #DSUFamily from American International College, where he coached tight ends, h-backs, and offensive tackles. Salomonsky spent a season with AIC, and was responsible for scripting practice sessions, breaking down opponent's film, and holding position meetings.
Prior to his stop at AIC, Salomonsky served as an offensive line coach, run game coordinator, and head of equipment at Oklahoma Panhandle State University. Salomonsky was heavily involved in putting together offensive run game plans and goals and recruited the East Dallas, South Texas, Alabama, Florida, and Oklahoma areas.
Salomonsky also served as an offensive line coach and run-game coordinator for the Arkansas Twisters of the United Football league, with additional stops at Middle Goergia State and North Alabama.
Salomonsky started his football career as an offensive lineman at New Mexico Military Institute before moving on to play for the University of North Alabama.
