Biography
2019 (JUNIOR): Snapped in eight games on field goals and PATs…helped the Statesmen to a 6-4 record…snapped on field goals and PATs against Tusculum (9.5), at Grand Valley State (9.14), Florida Tech (9.21), at North Greenville (9.28), at West Florida (10.5) and West Georgia (11.9)…left the team after graduating from Delta State following the 2019 season…the Statesmen defense led the GSC in total defense (309.2 ypg.), rush defense (122.0 ypg.) and sacks per game (2.70).
2018 (SOPHOMORE): Long snapped in two games on field goals against Valdosta State and Shorter University.
2017 (RS FRESHMAN): Helped the Statesmen to a 9-4 overall record and a second round appearance in the NCAA Division II Football Championship Playoff.
2016 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Matt Wallace at Desoto Central High School in Southaven, Miss...lettered in football his final three years at DCHS...national ranked Rubio long snapper and was a University of Alabama personal invitee specialist camp....Graduate of Distinction...member of Mississippi Boy state... 2015 senate minority wipe, invite to the Nation Leadership council in Washington D.C...received academic scholarship to Delta State.
PERSONAL: Dustin "Dusty" Dye...son of Kerry and Sue Dye...has two brothers, Danton and Drew Dye...majoring in business.
